Winter is a time of change. It is a time when miracles happen before the people involved relize them. On a chilly evening, on Christmas Eve, Evelyn's grandparents' dance group congregated to sing Christmas carols by candlelight. A few months before this night, Evelyn's grandmother Mrs. Parker had told Josh that she knew the perfect girl for him. Meanwhile, she invites Evelyn to dance class to meet someone special. The night they first met the first impressions were left to linger like the candle's flame through the Winter icestorm of December 2002 into 2003. Evelyn started going to dance class every Tuesday, they started dating February 8, 2003.
On February 11, 2005 they were engaged. So on July 26, 2008 they are getting married at First United Methodist Church on N. Tryon Street with the sun shining through the stained glass windows on a beautiful miracle.
